The Common Place is a restaurant and cafe like no other, driven by our desire to provide Midwest, Western Australian produce in all its glory. Our cocktail and restaurant menu changes seasonally with the weather and of course the natural produce that is available. With a beautiful purpose built deck overlooking a beautiful farming outcrop among native plants and animals.

Coming to the restaurant you will experience everything that the Common Place has to offer, our beautiful lounge area and shared seating we have used to create a common seating ‘vibe’ to assist you to engage in conversation and to meet people and share new culinary experiences. Being the only restaurant in the Midwest that truly specialises in using only local products we have become a food tourism mecca that is a must do on your trip to Dongara. Located a short 5km drive from the twin towns of Dongara and Port Denison down a country road ‘hidden’ on our 122 acre hobby farm, it is an experience not to be missed.
